Ethics and public responsibility

Our current research uses aggregated public statistics and does not identify individual children or families. We do not join research data to information entered in any Lyceum Labs product.

We publish methods, caveats and null results because SEND statistics describe unequal systems and real lives. Rankings are contextualised; uncertainty is visible; local variation is not treated as individual blame.

Future work involving people or non-public records will require an appropriate consent, governance and independent review process before collection begins.
